About Me

My photo
Hi, My name is Gail Bohacek-Sheehan (Nightingale Cockers). In October of 1982 we bought our first Cocker Spaniel puppy from a person unknown to us at the time - Jane Benthein (Schatzie Acres Cockers), Manitowoc, WI. Jane and I became best of friends. It was the cutest black female puppy,"Daisy". Later Jane and I bought a black n white puppy bitch, "Katie", "Schatzie's n Bo's Katie Jane". She produced my first champion. 'Ch. Nosowea's n Bo's No Trial", "Toby". Toby's offspring are still in the ring with Joanne Thorp today, "Nosowea's" Cudahy, WI. Then I purchased a silver buff female who became "Ch. Tri-Pod's n Bo's Picture This","Lacey", from Deb Podratz "Tri-Pod Cockers", MN. She, Lacey, produced "Ch. Nightingale's Double Take", "Tiffany" and "Ch. Nightingale's Classic Image", "Jamie". From "Tiffany" we still have the lines 8 generations later being "Nightingale's Golden Isle Breezes" "Breezy" producing "Nightingale's Mercy Me" and "Nightingale's Southern Jezebel". Also sharing our home is "Breezy", Nightingale's Golden Isle Breezes, a pretty black girl out of "Haley". Then there is "Chadwick", R.A's Nightingale's Golden Isle Venture, from Romeacre Cockers in MI. We had some 'ventures alright...spent some time in the show ring with him getting many reserves. We have "Trigger", Junior International and Junior National Ch. Nightingale's n Moonfyre's Only Option, out of "Angie", Schatzie's Winter's Snow Storm n "Bert", Namees Rambl-N Man. Bert is owned by Chris of Moonfyre Cockers. Trigger had been co owned by Kerri Houston of Boynton Beach, FL. He is mine n Chris' tribute to Jane....
We have "Alison", Moonfyre n Nightingale's Lovebug, a very pretty sable n white puppy girl from Chris of Moonfyre Cockers and last of all there is "Charlotte", Nightingale's Snow Angel, a cute little buff puppy girl out of Angie n Chadwick!

  1. I think the colors on this blog are very pretty! Now you are getting the hang of it. You need to make more blog post about your cocker adventures or dog shows of course.

    xoxo
